Looking for some advice as i have no idea of the monitors around at the moment.

There are three things required.

1) It MUST pivot (rotate 90 degrees)
2) It MUST have 1920x1080 res or better
3) Ideally im after the smallest size possible which im guessing is 21"

Muchos Gracias!

It has a 360° swivel, so I guess so. You can go on the Dell website and get them to ring you free of charge if you want to know more info. They do that for everything as I just had to do it to check the delivery date.

I am very interested in the answer to this as well, I am after a couple of monitors to straddle my imac for coding but want ones that can be rotated to give a nice height. I think that buchtis is referring to the 360 degree view of the monitor that dell do on their site rather than it actually rotating the screen. I cant see how the mounting at the back would facilitate any rotation.

I have a dell 2001fp at the moment which is great but its on 1600 x 1200.

The new Dell 21.5" U2211H screen may be worth a look.

It has an excellent stand that can pivot 90 degrees (into portrait mode) and uses a high quality IPS panel.

The resolution is also 1920x1080, but the size is rather small at 21.5 inches diagonally.

It isn't currently available in the UK, but it may be worth sending OCUK a webnote to see if/when they will be getting them in.
