Cooler Advice?

Originally had a CM TX3 in mind for the simplicity and a small overclock. However decided to just go all out and get a decent cooler for a modest overclock of around 3.6ish on my i5 750.

At the moment, I've been looking at the following;

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-072-AK

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-041-ZA

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-002-CS

I'm basically looking for something that's easy to install, offers good efficient cooling and is capable of achieving a respectable overclock (must also fit in a CM-690). At the moment I'm swinging towards the Titan or the Viper, simply because of the cost. However the fan controller and snazzy looks of the Zalman tempted me but reviews say it's a job to install, but also the room my PC is in does tend to get quite warm (the hot water boiler is in a cupboard) so I was under the impression that going all out on the H50 would be the better option. However, like I said, I'm not looking for an extreme overclock of 4GHz, far more modest at around 3.4-3.6 (more if it's achievable, however it's not a necessity) so keeping the price down would be a biggy.

Any words of advice? :) Also, last time I tried installing a proper heatsink I killed the motherboard. Granted it was a low profile AC7 which had the worst mounting system I've ever seen. So, ease of installation is pretty much priority. :D

Cheers.

I was recently looking at buying an aftermarket and looked at all the above coolers you mentioned. I ended up going for the H50 and for the price difference between the air coolers and the water cooler i am super pleased. Looks nice in my case, performs really well, doesnt take too much room in your case and gives room for you to overclock further in the future if you wish.

Honestly mate, if all your after is a modest Overclock then the Titan will do you fine, hell even 4Ghz is ok with the Titan. No need to spend a lot if you don't want to.

Fair play, that's what I'm thinking, seeing people do fine with the Titan on higher overclocks than I'm aiming for so should be all dandy.

I'm in the same boat, I just got an i5 750, I might go with the zalman cause it looks nifty.

I YouTube'd it and it really does look fantastic. However they did say it was a pain to fit, and I just can't be doing with all that. I'd trade up looks for ease of installation and cost without a second thought, so might do that in this case. :)

It claims that;

Both Intel socket 1366 and 775/1156 processors make use of a special plastic frame which is attached onto the motherboard prior to the Zalman CNPS10X Extreme installation. No tools are required for the LGA775/1156 frame, and the motherboard can stay in place.

Can anyone clarify this? Having a 1156 motherboard myself if it doesn't require the motherboard to be removed then that would make my choice much easier. However I get the feeling I'm missing something? Lol.
