3m Cable management for headphones?!?

I have a pair of HD555's love it to bits but the cable is too long sometimes, too short sometimes when im sitting at the desk. Is there some sort of 'off the shelf' wind up cable management system?!?

So when i get up and walk it lets the cable go, and when i want, i can manually wind it back up. Kinda like a garden hose wheel thing but for headphones heh.

I'd love to know this myself. ATM I'm using little cable clip (the kind you use to route cables along skirting boards) nailed into the underside of my desk to keep excess cable hanging out of the way while still allowing the full range of movement (just have to pull the cable back through when I want to hide it away again), but it's a bit DIY for my liking.
