A little advice would be appreciated

Hello, I currently have a hd4850 gpu in my system. I have had it for about 2 years now and very happy with it. However I want to get a dx11 card. I have been looking at the hd 5750 and also the hd 5770. My 22" inch monitor only goes upto resolution 1680x1050 and I don't want to replace it as I play a lot of my games on my 42" 1080p tv which I don't think goes that high in resolution anyway. So is it worth going for the 5770 over the 5750 as I won't benefit from higher frame resolution or can someone suggest what card would best suit my needs. Many thanks in advance :)

thanks for the advice but as my monitor will not display above resolution 1680x1050 are there any other benefits of going for the hd5770 over the hd5750 apart from resolution ?

I read somewhere that the price difference between the 5750 and the 5770 is minimal, just spend the the little extra and get the better card.

I think as well the 5750 will be a step back from your 4850, as the 4850 has more processing cores!

thanks for that advice
I also noticed that my 4850 card has 256 something where as the 4750 and 4770 have 128 something. Surely that in itself will bottleneck the new cards ?
