I've recently switched to a m-atx motherboard, meaning my 4870x2 is blocking my pci slots, so I want to get a new pci-e soundcard.

I previously have a xonar ds, which didn't impress me so I switched to a SB x-fi xtreme gamer card (I think thats what it was called, it cost around 40 quid)

I liked that card and want a similair one, any recommendations?

D2X is the same cost as the Titanium. If the OP wasn't impressed with the DS' EAX emulation capabilities, the same will apply to all Xonar's.

The X-Fi Xtreme Audio is pretty cheap and PCIe, but I wouldn't consider it, as it's not an X-Fi, just a repacked Audigy SE. Thought I would mentioned that, just in case you wondered if it was worth getting. :)
