We currently have a 26" Phillips LCD connected up to Sky HD and it's too small for the room it's in. I'm thinking 40-42" will be best but budget is limited to £600 at the max I'd say. I'd like at least 100Hz and at least 2 HDMI sockets too. Not overly fussed if it's LCD/LED/Plasma.

Currently looking at the Panasonic TX-P42U20B - does anybody here have it?

If there's any alternatives (and if cheaper then better!) then please help!

In the last week, we ended up getting the TX-42S21B from the high street (£699), after pumping in the discount thats widely available, etc we got it for £619. Got a free panny BD45-EB bluray player and 7" sony digital fame too, so a bargain in my book.

Oh and the pq is rearly good. Based on the G10 panel of last year by all accounts.

So providing the discount voucher number still work then its not much more than your £600 max.
