CS:Source crashes router... which router (ADSL)

As title says.

My SpeedTouch 585v6 router is constantly crashing my router despite my best efforts to get it working including
*port forward
*static ip

Can anyone recommend a good adsl router that does not crash when trying to join a server in CS:S THANK YOU!

edit: Thought about upgrading firmware to see if that helps after reading this!

it seems my firmware is 5.4.0.11 on the router, looking for updates on the web

Not sure which one to install? 6-1-4-3 or 6-2-T-2 ?

Meh, well this post has put me off.
Instead of me wasting more time, can someone please recommend me a router? Thanks.

I also noticed that when I search in the server list in steam (without launching the game) and stop search 10 secs into it...about 30 seconds later the router crashes :rolleyes:

Not sure whether it is my router or my ISP.

had the same prob with source games, couldn't fix it so bought a new router

i didn't try very hard tho

random problem makes me mad

Something like a Netgear DG834 is a reliable all round router
