Battlefield Vietnam. Is the cd key tied to a user?

Hi guys

I suddenly feel the need to play Battlefield Vietnam again after all these years. I long since sold my copy but I see there are plenty of cheap second hand options available. The only trouble is would I be able to use one of these online?

I couldn't remember if the key got tied to a user account or not back in those days.

Does anyone remember?

It isn't tied to an account.

I'd still be wary that someone else could still have your key though.
