Replacing old £20 notes?

You aren't from near Birtley are you? lol I was in the post office earlier and some lass and her bf came in asking if they could exchange loads of old £20's.

You know on those little bits of paper it says bank-note, right? Updating notes and coinage isn't suddently an excuse to practice deflation.

Why don't you just, you know, put it in your bank account instead of leaving it for Rob the freindly neighbourhood theif to nick?

A bank will change them for you, if you're 100% against putting money in banks, or the funds are from ill gotten gains and you daren't risk depositing it.

I'd do a search on here for the thread from last week about the old £20 notes going out of use which contained to the appropriate Bank of England web pages on how to get old notes exchanged for new ones.
