I am looking at buying a car that has ben SORN. Do I need to re SORn it once it is registered to me?

Out of curiosity, why are you buying a car only to SORN it?

It may have no engine and he has a 27litre merlin ready to drop into it....
Could be any number of reasons tbh.

Having just done exactly the same Yes.
I bought my mums car from her which was SORN and couldn't get it servived and MOT'ed for a month so had to SORN it (never left her drive)
