nice score btw simulatorman

what do you get with PhysX off?

Without:

A slight increase in the GPU score and an enormous hit in the CPU 2 test.

thats only because the cpu score is determined by your cpu and not your graphics

still, a pretty impressive score.

you planning on getting the 480s under water? mine clocked to 800 on air easily but under water it does outrageous speeds

Thanks. :)

I will be putting them under water as they are runnng too hot for my liking at the moment. I’ve got to play around with the fan settings and have a look at the bottom air intake fan.

No problems whatsoever, I used these drivers from the start:

Intel(R) Gigabit Ethernet Driver V10.1.6.0 for 32/64bit Windows XP & Windows Vista & Windows 7.(WHQL) from here:

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx

What problems are you experiencing?

hi
it says "cant install driver, no intel adaptes are present in this computer"

i have installed several times and the same thing happens
thx

Don't forget that you can save your profiles in "ASUS O.C. Profile" in the tools menu once your happy with them. You can also play with another (beta) bios using the "BIOS FlashBack" option.

Thanks so much for posting.:)

Is it really safe to have the CPU Voltage and CPU PLL Voltage set on auto on this board? The reason why i`m asking is because a lot of peaple here say it's recommended to set the the voltages yourself so there is no overvolting going on.

What would be the lowest CPU Voltage and CPU PLL Voltage I should try that should give me 4.2GHz stable on i7 980X?

Thanks for responding.

Removed NB heatsink, but couldnt add the supplied NB cooler (1 with fan) the scews are too short. Will source newer ones and let you know. Reset the NB anyway, definately running cooler.

Hi Keng

I had same problem on my board. The IOH ( Input/Output hub ) was over 100 and shut my machine down every 20 mins. Asus told me to send MB back but I tested the NB with a Infrared thermometer and it only read 46 max after although the MB sensors reported over 100 so I just shut sensor off then watercooled the MB.
The fan never done much of a difference on the temps for me.
