Which monitor for gaming 21-23"?

Hi folks,

I'm looking to replace my old 19" samsung with something a little bit bigger.

My graphics card is ATI Radeon 5870 and I'm using 1440x900 resolution at the moment.

I was thinking of getting Dell U2211 or U2311, but I'm not sure if they're suitable for gaming, the last Dell monitor I had was a really bad experience, tons of blurring in games.

Also, would my card work with the new 1980x1080 monitors, or is that rez a bit too high?

Asus VG236H 23" which i unboxed in a topic which should be near the top, came with 3d vision.


yes your card would work on a 1980x1080. Your card supports 5670x1080 or something.

Is there a non-3D version of it? I have only one good eye, so 3D is no use to me

Or is this more about the 120Hz refresh rate than the geek glasses?
