Hey All,
Having some problems and was hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Seems I have searched the web and cannot find the answers yet im sure I am not the only one who has it this problem... im brief:
I have a Windows Server (2008) PC that has all my music (and other files stored). I moved the itunes library over to the server and pointed my Windows laptop to the itunes library on the server... worked fine.
I tired to do the same with the Mac but every time the PC or Mac connects alternately, iTunes rebuilds the library.
What am I missing? Surely there is any easy way to have a single database/library that all my computers regardless of Windows or Mac can access (obviously not at the same time i know that causes problems).
I did have it working, but when I introduced my new Mac pro into the mix it broke
Thanks for any help in advance.
I fear i might simple have to share the Server music as a "Computer on the network" option and give each laptop its own library
