Every time I've played tf2 over the last few days it has either not connected or said it has a connection problem after 10 seconds of playing, this happens every time I connect to a server and then after around 5 failed connections windows tells me I have a connection problem and my Ethernet is unplugged, I then have to spend 10 minutes messing around making windows realise it's not until I can use the internet again. This is really starting to annoy me and i just want to know if anybody's had the same problem or heard about a problem similar to mine.

If we are talking about the BT Home Hub they are known to have problems with valve games and there is not much u can do other than change your router

if thats the case OP may be worth checking out the valve forums.
Problem is Thomson routers suck for use with Valve games. Anyway, you can fix the issue.

I know the link above is BeBox related but underneath it's a Thomson just like the Homehub. You may need to Google for the Homehub username/password or you may already know it!
