Spotify for Linux

Been using it since it came out that day. I'm very impressed so far. First thing you notice is that it's identical to the windows version looks wise but you have the nice fonts. I'm surprised at the effort spotify have made updating it. They are telling the truth when they mean they are updating it at the same speed as the windows and mac counterparts. Just the other week when folders came out, all platforms got it. Only problem they need to overcome now is getting a free version and also local storage.

Spotify was all I used wine for too, no need for it now so I uninstalled it :)

Good to see more Linux app development!:)

It is, but I wish that these developers would consider multiple architecture support. Y'know, I can't even watch a bloody flash movie, or youtube, because my CPU is a powerpc and the open source equivalents are pretty poor.

However, as far as spotify is concerned, I *am* pretty happy with despotify.

edit / - All of this applies doubly when you consider that for OSX, there are release for x86, x86_64 and powerpc. :(
