Just wondering if any of the experts here can point me in the right direction for a good solid tutorial on how to move a Wordpress site successfully.

I've built my site away from the root dir because there was a holding page there while the site was under construction.

Its currently sits on www.myurl.co.uk/testfolder/wordpress/index.php
Obviously now I've completed the site I want it to sit @ www.myurl.co.uk/index.php

Never done this before with a wordpress site so I'm bit worried Ill make a mess of it by just dragging the folder through the FTP and moving it to the folder In which I want it now?

It is possible but it is also a pain, wordpress stores the path in the database in several places as well as every post being stored with hard coded urls to the files and images uploaded, basically its best to do...

Setup a new wordpress with the correct theme and use the Tools > Export option on the old blog to get an XML WordPress dump and then when you are on the new blog select the option to import the images from the other blog.
