Can someone check this system for me, tell me what you think and what you would change.

I wanted a 2k budget and this goes over very slightly...

you don't need a 890GX, FX chipset motherboard with a nvidia graphics card, as dual nvidia is not possible possible on a AMD chipset board.

you don't think some of the parts are a bit expensive, such as the ram, case, psu.

as you can only have one nvidia card with this, drop the psu down to 750w or 650w, look at the Corsair HX range which are still modular.

If your spending that kind of cash I would opt for a less expensive mouse/keyboard combo and go for a SSD drive for your OS/Games and keep the 1TB drive for storage. This would give you a massive performance boost over the 1TB drive.

Also I personally wouldn't go for the top of the range GFX card as they are way overpriced just so you can get a few more Mhz and a few more FPS! Go for one a couple of models down to save yourself a lot of cash (You could always upgrade in the future when they come down in £ to a more reasonable price), why not go for something in the GTX 460 range? i.e Asus GeForce GTX 460 1024MB. Unless your a hardcore gamer who wants the best FPS and money isn't a problem then go for the GTX 480 range...

If you've got that much to spend, I wouldn't buy AMD at all, I'd go for an i7 930 setup. This would allow you to have multiple nVidia GPUs, 6gb of RAM (4gb is sometimes not enough in my experience). After using AMD for a year I wish I'd gone for Intel. The i7 930 and the 1090t are pretty evenly matched in real terms, you can't really tell the difference apart from benchmarks.

Also don't bother with a GTX480, they're around 15% faster than a GTX470 but cost a lot more. Better off with one 470 now, and another later IMO.

Also, there's little point in having any RAM over 1333mhz in an AMD system, because you often can't get it stable above that. I have 1600mhz ram in mine and can't get it anywhere near that

As already mentioned the psu is overkill as you cant do sli on that motherboard. Will you be overclocking? If not the the motherboard & RAM are also overkill & could be changed to:

Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H Motherboard
OCZ Reaper RAM

You could than get an SSD for the OS with the money saved which will give a major speed boost and use the 1TB HDD for storage.

You could knock enough cash off that build without affecting performance to get a custom watercooling loop for it as well if you are interested in that which will allow you to overclock the cpu & gpu more:

You just suggested new mb and ram with the assumption that i wont be overclocking, then suggested i spend money on watercooling so i can overclock ?

I dont get why that motherboard isnt good for nvidia, again i dont want to use SLI i hate the buggy drivers same with crossfire, just a single card.

I cant run BC2 maxed out at 1680x1050 with a 260gtx so how can i do so with a 460gtx at 1920x1200 ?
