The only thing you need really is a retail (these normally come with software included) DVD/RW drive in any sort of machine, its difficult to spec without a budget, do you want machine to be able to do anything else at all? or is it just for copying dvds?

Thanks for the suggestion. It would only really be used for general document writing, browsing the net, watching movies, playing the occassional game and downloading. I guess my budget could stretch to 500-600 pounds max if absolutely needed.
