Nope, ADSL2+ still uses a higher frequency range, so for the sake of a couple of minutes rebooting the modem it's definitely worth trying the different options and seeing if your sync improves.

Technically ADSL2 (not 2+) should be the best option if >1MHz is attenuation to oblivion, not to mention all the ADSL2 features that aren't present in ADSL (though I have no idea how many of them are actually used by Be). YMMV.
