Microwave ovens

I have been in and out of these forums now for coming on 10 years and I know that 1 or 2 of you are quite savvy in various areas of technology so I have a question that I hope someone could help with.

Is there anything you can use to safely coat a scratch on the inside of a microwave oven?

I have a relatively new one which seems to have developed this scratch meaning fireworks every time you want to heat something up.

I will try the mustard 1st and see how i get on. I think the enamel paint might be a winner though.
