thinking of getting this monitor as i am after a new one just for internet and general usage. will not be gaming or doing photo work or anything like that.

i am just wondering if this is a similar quality to the p2450h but just a smaller screen? i ask as there are very little reviews of this 22".

thanks for any help. :)

what does the 'h' on the end mean. i do not believe the 22" model has this on the end of the name.
H for HDMI I presume. The P2250 doesn't have it, where as the P2450H does. The P2450H (24") is only £167.20, you may want to think about that considering you're thinking of paying £150 for the P2250 which only has a 21.5" screen.

i know it's really annoying, the price yesterday even went to £162 for the p2450h.

spending the extra money is not an issue, i just unfortunately don't think i have enough desk space for a 24". i also think due to having a narrow desk that the viewing distance will also be too close.

Well according to the specs, the P2450H is 578 x 430 x 190mm (With stand, WxHxD). You can somewhat gauge how much space it'll take up, even if you have to cut out a bit of cardboard to visualise it :)

I think generally people are about 2ft away when viewing their monitor, even for like 27" screens. Of course, it depends on the individual, but I think if you had to choose between the P2250 and the P2450H, the latter is clearly better value for money.

I have two P2050 (20") monitors in Duel veiw, love them, great picture, but when viewing web pages etc... I sometimes wish the screen was bigger, IE 16:10 not 16:9... but well worth £150... think I paid £190 each for mine a while ago.

I have 22" 1080p samsung and do not really see attraction of bigger monitors
unless they have higher pixel count, better quality(IPS/PVA), want to watch movies
at a distance (but TN angles limit this anyway) - maybe for games it is also a more immersive experience.
smaller screen takes less desk space, OK I sit 20" away and if you use it as an
extended screen from a laptop have closer DPI so windows have similar physical size
a 24-26" 2560x1440 monitor would be an interesting proposition (but need the laptop
that can drive it ) Paul
