now what?

that tj07 is missing a quad radiator and a lot of waercooling hardware.

please sort this out :p

………Its all coming, I’m happy with the CPU cooler tbh, I have 2x 240 rad’s I’l be using to water cool the GPU and maybe bridges. I bought the case expecting to build a water loop, however I havn’t had the time to work it out and test it so I just took the easy way out and bought the CPU cooler.

Its gona be my xmas project I think, should have more time by then + My 4 month old Daughter might be a little easier ;)

Where'd you get that front panel temperature thing? I googled the case name, curtesy of Rich, and didn't see it on there.

Google this: aerocool touch 2000. It didn't come with the case, its a unit you can put in any 5.25inch bay.

LOL

Dont count on it, more hassle the older they get. Just wait till she starts walking.

Nice build tho. You showing it off at i40.

Haha busted, yep that’s what its been built for, I had hoped to have it totally water cooled by i-40 but as you can imagine having a new born doesn’t exactly give you much time! Only reason I built this was because i got a great offer on my Q6600 DDR2 system.

Never mind tho by next years i-series it should be water cooled!

If your at i-series come and give me a shout! Think I’m on grandstand floor 1, TFU have their own little section I think.

Cheers, The only problem with the aero cool is it only has 4 fan controllers, its enough. However I could do with one or two more.

The options you get are basic, lock the fan speeds, lower the rev’s etc. Also has 4 temp gauge’s which seem pretty accurate. I’l create a new thread late with it on, I’ve got a nice little video of it which will help make your mind up.

Not really planning on massive OC looking at 4 - 4.2GHz out of the i7 and ramp up the 5850 card.

The front panel is the areocool touch 2000, I was going to get the NZXT fan controller but tbh after looking at google pic’s I went for the areo, it was also the cheapest (£39.99).

Thanks for the good comments on the case, its not often I get compliments from OCUK haha. It was a battered TJ07 case I picked up for like £60… changed the back plate, mobo tray, powder coated the exterior white and black powder coating inside… all in all the case only cost me £190 which is outstanding imo. Water cooling coming next year as I’m a little skint now.

Where did you get the parts for the TJ07?

Just bought a TJ07 2nd hand and need to replace the i/o shield and pci slot piece that is riveted to the back plate.

I have a new back plate but the old backplate and shield is mangled.

i think the purple lights are awesome, different from your trendwhore blue or green.

And I absolutely love the case, looks like white high gloss... so makes me want to build a new rig lol, and I love the front LED panel... great job overall.

Cheers guys!!!

Been wanting to build this for so long!

Its a TJ07, powder coated white on the outside and black powder coated insided.

Also they arent purple lights believe it or not, their UV lights which really bring out the white!

OC'd it to 4ghz but now back down to 3.2 as i dont really need it that high.
