Hello installed a xfx 6870 and games work god on it.. but the internet pages seems blurry :confused:

how come? i have installed latest drivers..

What Monitor are you using

What drivers have you installed 10.10 10.11 etc

Did you have a previous Nvdia card on the same OS

Have you uninstalled current drivers and tried a different set

not yet..im using a hdmi cable is this wise? using a 23 HD phillips screen.

yes i unisstalled my olde ATI drivers and used the 10.11 drivers..i have wins 7 64bit and always used ATI cards in this newish build.

Try a different set of drivers,start with the 10.10s

Be more specific with your screen?

my screen is a Philips 230C1HSB 23" Full HD LCD Monitor 1920x1080 12000:1 (Dynamic) 300cd/m2 2ms VGA/DVI-D/HDMI/USB

Sounds like MLAA is on in the Catalyst Control Panel.

I had exactly the same issues with a good quality 1.3a/c HDMI cable from a Radeon 5970 and 1920x1080p HDTV. All the Catalyst driver sets made no difference with HDMI, text was fuzzy looking, had a slight blur. I now use a good quality DVI-D cable, same 5970 and HDTV and games are much sharper looking and no more blur effect on text.

I know this might sound "nooby" but go into the ati CCC and "restore default settings"... I know this fixed the pink tint that happened with the 10.10's, its worth a put

Had this identical prob, desktop fine, but blurry texts in windows mail. See if MLAA is enabled in the CCC and disable it as had been stated earlier

Agreed - I've had the same thing in the past from forcing AA. Do a reset to defaults
