I cannot comprehend how men can be bad at bowling. You raise your arm, and throw a ball in a straight line

Just laugh the guy off with "We're only here for the lulz" next time.

Can't believe it's not been said but you should have followed-through on him.

In all fairness I can see it from both sides. Improving your bowling would improve your score and make it more fun, providing you're trying to score well. If you look frustrated then I wouldn't be suprised if somebody approached me.

Though he should also be aware not everybody is there 'for the game' and could just be out for something to do and to socialise.

A friends girlfriend was just dropping the ball onto the lane a few weeks ago it was cringe worthy. But I wouldn't want to make her feel uncomfortable, quite often when coaching someone advice is usually ignored or forgotten 5 seconds later.

You should just quite simply interrupt and say ' I appreciate the advice but we're just here to enjoy ourselves and aren't bothered by our scores. But thanks anyway'

If they persist then you can poo on them.

Ya, I use to bowl, but most of the fun was taken out when a person started telling me how to do it "right". I was doing it for fun, let me have fun!!!

I've never had anyone say anything to me about my bowling style.

They'd have plenty to say too - I bowl with the bumpers up and have on several occasions dropped the ball behind me when making my swing or got my thumb stuck in the hole and ended up launching it halfway down the lane with an almighty bang...

Maybe I should stop going bowling. It clearly isn't my forté :D

The poster must be bowling/throwing like a girl.

on a side note anyone tried bowling without the barriers? it's not as easy as it looks on the Wii, but tbh you need to lighten up and laugh it off. why would i give to hoots what another person said, or more importantly tell the semi-pro that he bowls like a sissy girl, that should shut him up.

Bad enough to warrant a stranger approaching him, and offer advice? :p

Yea I got kinda thought that after I posted :o

Maybe it's just cause he's a "man", because as I see it bowling is a sort of natural instinct to man, much the same as sniffing out a pub from 3 miles away.

"Let me tell you something, pendejo. You pull any of your crazy **** with us, you flash a piece out on the lanes, I'll take it away from you, stick it up your *** and pull the ******* trigger 'til it goes "click"

That would have sorted him out! :)
