It's longer on some other forums.

Maybe there would be spam bots which could break the server if there wasn't a time delay.

It bothers me more that you can't search for short words. Loads of times I've wanted to search for a 2 letter acronym as part of a search.

Does my head in as I always seem to misspell a word the first time I search. Surely there can't be so many people searching for it to actually cause a noticeable impact on the server?

Alternatively I should just learn to type correctly the first time.

It stops some bot going to use the search engine every second and overloading the server till it crashes.

It's either a 10 second wait or have a CAPTCHA code - I'd much rather a 10 second wait

Alternative, you could search on Google

This. It's sooooo frustrating, epscially on a computer forums where everything is acronyms :mad:
