All GIGABYTE P67 and H67 chipset motherboards produced today ship with GIGABYTE’s Hybrid EFI Technology, and we have started porting this new BIOS to other chipset platforms with the intention to make it available on every currently shipping GIGABYTE motherboard.

You’ll see the statement below start to appear on various online forums around the web as we start to promote this unique new GIGABYTE feature.

It sounds like all the changes will be under the hood and not visible.

When people think of EFI they picture a fancy GUI and mouse support but Gigabyte won't have that, infact the only benefit they mention is larger HDD support.

should be interesting, I have been testing uEFI out on a Intel DP55KG and its not half bad most of us think that booting is a lot after, you will get a '_95' on the Windows loading screen (well we do)...

Just make sure you have 64bit Windows Vista or 7 to boot uEFI as x86 is not supported using uEFI..
