seems strange I know but I just find it to be a very uplifting film.
Maybe it's good overcoming evil that appeals, the willingness of Karras to sacrifice himself for another human being even in the face of the most terrifying evil. Not entirely sure why, but I always feel happy after watching it. This happy!
