Hi

Budget £500 (maybe a wee bit more if I go for a new Graphics Card)

I'm looking at upgrading my computer, specifically the motherboard, processor, RAM and maybe a Graphics Card (depending what I can get with any remaining bucks).

I have been looking at the Sandybridge i5/i7's and mainly use my computer for gaming but I also have it set up as a media centre hooked up to 2 monitors or a monitor plus tv so regularly have it multi tasking.

Does anyone have any suggestions what sort of set up I could go for?

Many Thanks

Thanks for your reply stulid

I have a decent PSU (Corsair 650w)

Im a little concerned about the Graphics Card, my case doesn't leave a huge amount of space (length wise). My existing Graphics card is about 22-23 cm in length and I wouldnt want anything much longer than that. Dont suppose you have any other suggestions or would know what length the one mentioned is? (Apologies I should have said something about that in my original post)

Thanks again

My existing card is a Gainward ATI Radeon HD 4870,

I think I might have over egged that 22cm estimate, just measured the chamber in my case, there is space for a 10 inch card in there. Would be willing to spend upto 250ish on the card I dont know if that makes much differance to the sort thing I could sqeeze in there?
