I havr this issue, but mine sits at 0% for about 15mins then i get a message saying "system reverting - unable to load updates" or something like that and then it goes to login.

Does this everytime I reboot now, annoying as i have to keep manually aborting the update.

I get this same message aswel, and its happening EVERY time I reboot, I get the same 17 updates trying to install but fails on boot up. (I have 17 updates because havent used computer for a month).

My boot up time is now 10mins, need a fix!

Todays install failures are:

KB2511455
KB2491683
KB2506928
KB982018
KB2506014
KB2503658
KB2509553
KB2507618

KB2506223
KB2522422
KB2511250
KB2508272
KB2446709
KB2515325

Can anyone else experiencing this please tell me which ones are failing with them so I can pinpoint the problem.

I suspect VERY strongly it is an issue with SP1 as the only other time I have an a windows update issue was when SP1 was a recommended update about a month ago and I got an install fail from it on boot up just like this

Ok I said I just had to wait but after checking today it seems waiting is just a time out too failing to install. I clicked on the error help and it opened update troubleshooter. It ran and then 'fixed' the update software. Going to restart now and check if anything is fixed.

Edit: After running windows update troubleshooter the updates installed in about a min or two. So something to try if you are having problems.

yeah same thing is happening to me, no matter how many times i restart it comes up with "installing updates 0%" and stays for about 5 minutes

edit: Well I just went into the windows update section and manually updated myself, maybe the auto updater is bjorked.

hi, got same with stuck at 0% after about 5mins it said failed updated.
so checked update site and manually installed all seemed ok, till i went to watch some vids.
now 90% of me avi etc wont show up in media centre, when i look for them in windows explorer the thumbnails just show up as the standard graphic and tried google all sorts to get this sorted but no joy
reinstalled klite full etc and uninstalled these updates but now i feel like i gotta do a wipe to get the thumbnails to show and display as they should in media centre
im not very happy atm lol

edit just to say me laptop updated fine and no probs both on win7 64
