Wow... just checking in on this thread made me realize i'm still using TWM. Sometimes all we need really is a browser. Now, choices... wmfs, dwm or openbox? Bearing in mind i have no idea how to customize or even use any of them :p

openbox! easy xml configurations and there are some fairly good gui tools to customise them.

A few changes, Openbox still, with Conky on the top right and Tint2 on the bottom left for use as a system tray only, really pleased with the results so far :)

Finally something i'm reasonable happy to show off ;) I'm actually getting on quite nicely with Gnome 3 at the minute, but the lack of customization options will either be remedied or find me switching to another wm soon enough. Haven't got weather working yet, and since i don't actually understand lua ('stole' the script from Gnome-Look, edited images, colours and fonts) i haven't given the CPU temp rings, but all in all i'm rather happy with it.

Reinstalled Crunchbang on my netbook and been arsing about with openbox for the last few hours :)
