The Queen is actually quite a nice person from what I've heard, don't presume just because she's royalty means shes all stuck up. I imagine she is pretty down to Earth.

I'd probably be A and very nervous as well.

I think anyone who answers c) is kidding themselves. Meeting The Queen is a big thing, enjoy your day!

You seem to be under the impression that everyone loves the queen. Personally, the royal family don't interest me one bit, and I honestly wouldn't be at all interested in meeting them, so I'd have to make an option "D" as "wouldn't want to meet the queen, not interested in royalty or celebrity culture" :p

I would say it goes against the laws of the universe for the queen to be "down to earth" as you said. She's probably as down to earth as her jewel encrusted crown.

im sure she is a nice person but meeting her doesnt change anything for me and i dont see the point.
you can say you met the queen , but i guess your not alowed a photo with her so nothing to show your grandchildren etc.

i'd be more bothered about having a look around the palace and i guess you get a bit of a tour? maybe thats what some people are more bothered about than meeting the actual queen?

i dont see how anyone raised with her priveledged background can ever be down to earth or in touch with the average person.

her biggest fear is probably catching a disease from one of the people she meets...

a or b.

HM has graced the throne with dignity for nearly 60 years and love her or not she is a fantastic advert for the UK.

Nobody puts on a show like her or her troops do when it comes to entertaining dignitaries and here's hoping that Victoria's reign is surpassed in 2016.

I have never met the lady, however I have been close enough for her to spit in my eye.

On that occasion while I bowed my head involuntarily, the rest of me ran in the opposite direction ;)

I'd be a b).

It will probably be nice to see her and feel part of an occasion, and you will have another little story to tell people. Not knowing what kind of event it is you are attending, you might only get a brief glance from her on the day, but it will probably still be rewarding just to have been invited and seen her.

I stood in some line that the Duke of Kent walked along, and various royals of greater or lesser importance have landed on our school playing fields over the years, so I've probably seen glimpses of a few, but never seen the Queen. There will probably be some photographer following her round I'd have thought, so you might appear in a picture later, often get posted up online I think.

Personally I would love it, I could add it to the list of monarchs I have been introduced / paraded about for. Currently it only includes the king of Saudi, but thats a pretty exclusive one to start with.

I would be excited. My dad got an OBE earlier in the year and I went to Windsor Castle with him and it was great. I didn't meet her but obviously Dad did and she was charming.

Great video up the page. I'm an economist specialised in visitor attractions, tourism and leisure and it is undoubtedly true that the Royal family provides enormous positive cash flow for the UK economy.

A for me. I'm not really for or against the Royal Family, but I imagine meeting HRH would be a pretty big moment for me still.

There was interview with Paxman where he was invited by Charles to dine with them (and a some other people) and when there was an opportunity to actually meet HRH properly, Paxman froze up and couldn't do it. He said he was just absolutely terrifying, it sounds like she really has presence!

Anyway, I think you should savour it and look forward to it very much!
