How could you possibly know that Rover was on its original turbo?

Everything from a wheel nut upwards was in the history, literally everything. And also, the turbine side was as rusty as ****, my 120,000 miler I used to have was far less corroded. Seemed the logical assumption. :)

Awesome!! Thanks for sharing that very special moment with all of us, and your membership to the 100k club is approved. :)
Cheers. :p
Youtube video of the rollover to 00000 would have been better though :p
It sat on my drive at 99999 & I had planned on taking another pick at 00000 but a mate came round & when we went out in it I forgot. :(
It currently sits at 00005 so it's Brand new again. :D

What car is it?
BMW 530d, November 2004

What mileage are you currently on?
Just passed 130,000 last week.

What major parts have you replaced?
Turbo, catalytic converter, exhaust, particulate filter, exhaust silencer, inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, another turbo (under warranty when I complained a year after replacing the first one that noise that had developed), 4 glow plugs. Front and rear discs. Changed body and wheels to sport kit, replaced springs and anti-roll bars to Eibach Pro-Kit. Various control arms and ball joints replaced recently. Gave me serious expense a couple of years back but has been pretty much faultless for the last 30,000 miles. Electronically it's been very well behaved, only needing a new wiring loom to the boot lid, and a slip ring which was causing airbag faults.

How long do you intend to keep the car for?
Not going to get rid of it, I've poured that much money into it over the last 4+ years that the only person going to get the value out of it is me, by not changing it. It goes well anyway and has a load of little extras above the standard spec that I do enjoy. And since I upgraded the appropriate bits to bring it to sport spec, it still looks very fresh, handles exceptionally and is still a joy to drive.

1997 Corsa 1.4 Vegas

What mileage are you currently on?

100,004

What major parts have you replaced?

Nothing

How long do you intend to keep the car for?

About another fortnight as I have a new car in the pipeline :)

Bought the Corsa 2 years ago for £50 with no MOT or tax. Put a battery and back box in it and it sailed through MOT. Done 4000 miles in it and replaced the back wheel bearings and one section of brake pipe in those two years :) Best 50 quid I ever spent !

I joined the club on Saturday.

What car is it?

Saab 9-3 1.9 TiD (150) Saloon

What mileage are you currently on?

100,100ish

What major parts have you replaced?

Alternator - under warranty around 50k
Heated seat element (lovely in winter)
Water pump / cambelt - pump siezed at 64k (ish), which takes the cambelt with it. Thankfully no other damage and Saab paid 50% of the repair price (without me even asking) with the car only just being outside warranty

How long do you intend to keep the car for?

I purchased it with 2k miles on the clock as a dealer's demonstrator, so almost 100,000 miles in my ownership. I have a fixed price service plan in place for the next two services (108k and 126k IIRC), so plenty mores yet (fingers crossed!).

Just done a big service, plugs, all belts + tensioners, oil, oil filter, coolant, rear pads! Put new UK spec lights in aswell, wasn't essential but they look a lot better.

I think new disks & pads are in order with braided brake lines and a caliper refurb!

How long do you intend to keep the car for?

For aslong I keep enjoying it! Turbo-ing once I have the money.
