if its not 120Hz then this monitor is lacking really, neither 3D ready nor greater than 1920x1080, on a new monitor i'd want at least one of the two...

You are thinking of true LED screens, this is not the same.

This is LED 'backlit' , which still uses a traditional LCD screen.
