USING SSD AS CACHE DRIVE?

Hey All,

Need some help and advice please.. I have been using a Kingston V Series 40GB SSD for the past few years and I am very happy with it.. However I now find that 40GB is not enough for windows and all the apps I use (Photoshop, Adobe Premier etc) so I purchased a new SSD Crucial M4 128GB and to go with my mobo Gigabyte EX58 UD5 I bought the Asus U3S6 chipset board to cater for the Sata 3 function with the new Crucial SSD

Now instead of selling my 40GB Kingston Drive I would like to format and use this drive as a cache drive for Photoshop , Premier, my internet browsers and other window files cache .. Please can you advise me if this will be possible and if so whats the best way of setting something like this up?

I would really appreciate your help and advice..

Many Thanks.. :)

Couldn't be easier. All of the above mentioned programs have menu options to allow you to set the cache on any drive you choose. I've always had the Photoshop scratch disk on a secondary drive (or drives) for example.
