Best Android Satnav App

I'm looking an Android satnav app. I have downloaded the Sygic trial and it looks good but I'm just wondering what people think of the alternatives before I buy the full version.

So what are peoples opinions of the best satnav app.

Give Co-Pilot a go. I downloaded it last night for my Xoom. Seems a cracking ap.

I've been unimpressed so far with Google navigation and copilot. I just keep my old Nokia E72 in the glove box now as can't fault ovi maps.

I don't like google navigation as it doesn't have the maps on the phone and it's so slow to load over the mobile internet.

Waze is quite an interesting little app if you want a free satnav with 'TomTom Live' style traffic condition sharing

I can't fault googlemaps.

Well when using "my bus tracker" for edinburgh buses you can see where they have the "nearest position to 100m"...and the location of bus stops seems out at times. But that's most likely the programming of bustracker instead of google maps.....well guessing they use googlemaps for it.

I would love to use Google maps but I have an iPhone. Google have the best traffic data.

tomtom is a rip off... £50!

Have you got the latest version of maps and enabled the "downloadable maps" labs?

You can download up to 10 10x10 mile squares on a WiFi or 3g connection before setting off and keep them on the SD card for the journey.

Another vote for CoPilot here. Nice to know all the maps are there ready and waiting, and the redirect feature is handy too.

Google Maps Navigation is fantastic. The only time it's annoying is if you suddenly need directions away from somewhere with only a GPRS signal, but other than that it's great

Another vote for Google nav, its traffic updates and re-routing abilities are pretty awesome! Only problem was poor signal but now with the Labs mod to d/l maps it is slowly becoming unbeatable.
