Peter Power talking about how the Police switched from being a Force to a Service.

He is absolutely correct, for years now the powers that be have pandered to the PC brigade and emasculated the Police.

The Police have the power, they have the training and have the equipment and technology.

Unfortunately supervision within the Police and edict from the various governments has has shackled the police.

Free the Police from political correctness and this ridiculous notion of have to be culturally sensitive policing.

Personally I think your wrong.

Ill have to agree, the "shoving things under the carpet" ideology has to go, immigration has spurred a massive increase in fascists recently, leading to an unfortunate end to 70+ intelligent people in Norway and im expecting many more.

There should definatly be some balance to things, but 140,000 people a year back in labour days? that is FAR from balanced.

Education has suffered for it too, no point in explaining that again.

Safe to say the riots are fizzling out?

Safer to say that the news media have been told to play it down, and tell people it's quieter in London (and concentrate on that) so that Cameron can come out today and proclaim the extra officers on the street a total success.

According to various other sources than the BBC, no. They're not fizzling out, merely the reporting is now being controlled.

Read somewhere something about, "only people in the UK who run around in designer trainers and go home at night to sleep in a comfy bed call themselves 'in poverty' "

So true, morons, there not exactly on the edge of life they all have homes, clothes and a decent national health service, its not exactly the desert is it.

Or... they could have stolen the designer clothes...
