It seems virgin finally got around to fixing my issues, however side effect has been my power levels here's a image:

Before the issues (and during) I only had 3 locked channels, which was around 12/13dbmV, so a engineer put a -15 bracket or what ever you call it on the back of my router. So that was fine then, but now it's changed, and it's quite annoying cause the engineer said the closer to 0 the better, and if I were to take it off now, it would be hovering pretty close EXCEPT I have that insane 5th channel, would that pump it up to 58dBmV? (why it's that high I have no idea i swear it's meant to be inbetween -10 and 10) and is there anyway to sort this without a engineer visit?

I was told by an engineer that the power limits should be less than - / + 3dB

Mine was at +5 when he visited and said that wasn't good. Fitted a attuneuator (spelling?) and my lines is within - / + 3 now but it hasn't fixed my packet loss.

im happy with virgin 50mb but the way the network performs in general and what you see loads of people on bt infinity get with the quality of the broadband il def be looking at the 80/20 product as the green cabinet is just 100 yards from me over the road. Virgin need major investment in the network or it will be left behind. saying that over the last 2 months id give my virgin 50mb service an 9, its been great on everything ive used it for, a little slower yesterday evening on downloads but maybe thats just congestion in general, i mean i got 4.24mb dl last night so peak time but my pings were still great. also im worried that the green bt cabinet can only take 228 telephone connections on the big cabinets so id assume those slots will get taken quite quickly and ya wont be able to get fttc because theres too many people subscrbing.

I believe they'll add extra capacity if necessary.

Just spent one hour 20 onthe phone to VM support in india. Took control of my pc reset my superhub and did a speed test.

Said all was fine so i did another two speedtests and one showed me having a 3.5 mb download speed and still she said there is no problem i can put you through to digital one who fix PC's. He laughed and tried to transfer me back at which point i hung up and started eating my cold meal.

Really annoying i have had 50mb for nearly 2 years at my previous address no faults with my modem and dlink setup.

I have Moved to a new flat in the same building as i was in previously and they took my modem and left me with a superhub and this terrible connection.

Really not impressed.
