Torrents haven't been throttled for me for over a month now at anytime, even the upload has been giving out 1MB/s.

It depends on your area usage.

Lucky bum. :p I might have to re-check my speeds tonight, but I doubt I'll see the same result. Edinburgh seems to have a pretty decent uptake on Infinity, actually.

Use other speedtest.net servers. Start a think broadband latency monitor.

Use other speedtest.net servers.

Tried multiple servers, they're all showing crap results.

Start a think broadband latency monitor.

Cant, they don't support dynamic IP address monitoring.

I've been using broadband long enough to spot an over congested network when i see it....the slow speeds kicked in around 4pm, and I bet my speeds will be back to normal after 11pm or so..

If you get BT Infinity and then move house, does anyone know what costs are involved? i.e. is it possible to transfer the connection to the new place - I assume there will be some costs involved in fixing the face plates and what not.
