The grills can be painted if required but i can't imagine the sound would be good or the plaster would last long over the grills!

Read the site and blurb, can have 2mm of plaster skimmed over.... they are not "speakers" as we know, they are more "Vibration transducers"... Ie they locally vibrate the wall to create sound. not cheap, 500-2k it seems.

Trying to search through this but can't find the answer easily...
Were the ceiling downlights LEDs too? Questions:

What wattage did you use
How many did you use
Are they dimmable
Are you happy with how many you put in, would you change anything about them?

If you can remember and if you have the time, a few answers would be much appreciated.

They are surface mount dimmable lights fro m ARGOS IIRC

You do know that the HD700X can be calibrated, don't you?

If you're not looking at stepping up the 1080p in that room just yet, then professional calibration can breath new life in to a projector. It will be as big an upgrade as going from DVD to Blu-ray. It will also make your existing projector more saleable when it does come time to upgrade.
