Voodoo OTA can temporarily hide that the device is rooted on the Note to get applications like this to run.

I think you can add Sky Go to the list of programs that won't run on jailbroken iOS as well now. Today my Sky Go updated with more channels (Sky 1, Sky arts etc) and I'm now getting 'video unavailable', reinstalled the app and the same thing. Checked online and it's still in my registered devices (I just registered an S2 so wondered if it was that but thats not showing up in my main account).

Time to restore it and see...

EDIT: It's working now I restored it, so looks like it was to do with the jailbreak/new release today. I'm going to leave it stock now that two apps I want don't work on it when jailbroken.

This app reminds me of steam at first launch - good idea but the execution is average. Aside from the completely random buffering (testing on OC12 internet speed links here) the app feels a bit clunky on an SGS2, like it's missing some refinement.

TV catchup looks better to give people some indication in comparison.

Used the HidemyRoot to use it, starts out a bit rubbish but after the first 30 seconds the picture isnt bad.

The app installs fine but it just stuck on the 0% 0/100 loading screen using wifi or 3g.

Followed the steps to create a new user in this thread & then followed this:

I've just flashed Intratech's Stock LA4 which kept root and now with the Voodoo Hide Root app, Sky Go works on all channels.

Now I have Sky Go on Checkrom v6 SGS2 no probs
