Good plan, but how about 256GB. (plextor are intels OEM SSD maker.)

With the SSD its only SATA 2 not SATA 3, so its not really worth it in my opinion.

I wouldn't recommend a H77 board and a multiplier unlocked CPU if you wanted to overclock (the max you can reach is the maximum Turbo value)

Keeping the costs down.
It's an improvement over what the OP is currently using, which is what matters.
As for the H77 motherboard, I forgot it wasn't an overclocker, my bad. For just a few quid more you can get a Z77 instead.
