Best way to clean Nike Air Trainers?

Got some Nike Air trainers and they are starting to get a bit sweaty. Can't put them in the washing machine as they are air system. What's the best way to clean them?

I would put it in a washing machine, or as suggested, tramp urine might work, but feces are the most effective way .

Already have and it says put them in a washer but like I said they are air system and don't want to ruin them. Only had them 4 months so aren't that worn down but just want to clean out the nasty odour.
