I'm using Paranoid ROM and it's excellent though of late the battery life has been getting worse. I have android system using 50% of the battery and the phone is down to 84% after 4 hours of not doing anything. I used to be able to get to lunch without it going below 95% or so having not used it.
Any ideas?

I noticed on 1.6a it drained more than usual, I'm back on 1.4 paranoid though with 1.4 dark knight kernel.

This is probably the best I've got so far battery life wise.

Screen was between 25% & 40% throughout the day, Bit of data & then on Wifi for a while, Music for around 1 hour, 5 hours of Mumble with 4 people in the chat & audio playing through speaker. Then I plugged the headphones in around 12:30am.

Done some light browsing in Opera, 2 Gmail accounts syncing all day, As well as contact sync & drive sync.

Extended battery.

Lol! :D :D :D

Anyway on to the "interrogation process".................

:p

Very nice usage there!

Has that kernel/ROM got any undervolting stuff implemented?

Yeah the kernel is undervolted by standard but I put it back to the original volts & then reduced it on every step by -25mv because the UV was far too much for my phone to handle. I think he aims for around -50mv maybe a bit more when you first install it.

Any one know why my friends GS2 keeps doing it this? She will leave it on her desk with the music off and headphones plugged in but when she returns the stock music player is playing.

Has anyone got any cool tips to change how auto brightness works? Whenever mine is checked it just seems to default to almost 100% brightness, no matter what the ambient light is like.
