PC 1: Deepthought
PC 2: Ford (used to be Ford Prefect, but dropped the second word on the third iteration)
Server: Zaphod
Laptop: Arthur (as in Dent, Arthur Dent)
Weather Server: Slartibartfast
Media PC: Marvin

LOL, 'is it a PC or is it a laptop?' debate rears its ugly head once again. I would have put 'My laptop' and 'My desktop' as the first 2, since after all, they're both PCs. Unless one of them is a Mac ofc

At my uni we have in the main lab each computer name is after a country. In the other lab every computer is named after a pokemon. It's strange doing your dissertation on a computer called "Charmeleon"

My PC though is just called "The beast", but on networks is simply listed as "unknown".
