Where do you want to go today?
Again, I think its fine but probably cost someone £1 million to come up with a log from Win 95 and change the colours around a bit
Doesn't really matter though does it. It's a private company and what it does with its money is its own business (so long as you don't aggravate the share holders lol). And £1,000,000 isn't really all that much for a ~£250,000,000,000 company.
I preferred wavy windows but I don't think it looks too bad
This would have been better though:

Looks ok but doesn't fit in with their obviously 'Metro' focussed design ethos now.

Yep, check out the MS defence force though
I think this logo is uninspired and I don't hate them.
This exactly, this thread has similar complaints to folks who complained about the London 2012 logo, often ignoring the wider branding objectives involved - it's never just a logo.
Sorry if you think I upset your internet bestest nerd buddy, but hey, if the cap fits feel free to go ahead a wear itNice logic there. You don't really do any favours for yourself, kinda make yourself look a bit pathetic in all fairness, but however you want to portray yourself online, I guess.
It never looked the same once someone mentioned the "lisa Simpson" thing..... *shudder*I don't hate it, but it's pretty dull and a bit safe. Better then screwing it up completely through (olymics logo i'm looking at you)
Good taste, minimalism yet with a hint of contemporary rebellion through cubism, the colours are vivid and spontaneous while the whole ansamble is balanced yet extreme.

Agreed. Looks much better
