SSD questions and a spec me

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to SSD's. What is the best 200-300GB SSD for under £150? I am using SATA II at the moment, but I would like it to be SATA III for when I upgrade. They are backwards compatible, right? I know they have different "controllers", and some are better than others, but I don't actually know which ones are good!

I have Intel P55 SATA ports, and JMicron JMB332 SATA ports, with 'Xpert Drive technology'. Which would I use?

Samsumg 830 is good and around that sort of money last time I checked. It's also got epic endurance (another forum are benchmarking them and have got it up to over 5 petabytes of data written, which is well beyond the stated life of the drive).

Stick to Intel ports and you won't go wrong,I vote for the Samsung too
