I shall suggest to the shop staff that there needs to be a "gift wrapping" service provided at the store. So you can basically pay a small fee to have it packaged as if it were to be shipped, but it isn't.
Possibly even "Free gift wrapping service (including haribo) for loyal forum members who buy directly from the shop"
