She doesn't have 'morning sickness', she has hyperemesis gravidarum.

Are you surprised at the comments though? A mostly male, mostly young forum population. They're hardly going to be experts on the subject...or even understand it.

Hope she gets through it. I wouldn't wish losing a baby upon anybody. However I am going to be annoyed at all the 24 hour coverage. Lots of other women get pregnant every day and lots get hyperemesis gravidarum or other more life threatening conditions.

No it's like a train wreck through a butchers shop.

Mind = blown. I so glad an experienced gynaecologist like you has chose to post. Please explain your findings? I'd like a breakdown focusing closely on such variables as baby weight, position, pelvic space, pelvic floor muscle construction, vaginal tearing, mother age and average recovery time, please?

Look forward to reading your report.

so if serious, what will you do when your wife has children.....I find this whole attitude disturbing.

He's probably twelve and only ever seen pasty on a porno site. :D

Well they're hardly the only ones. A lot of seriously wealthy people have inherited their fortune. Or at the very least, their parents paid to have privately educated, and placed in the best jobs their connections could get them....

Yeah I don't get this, people complain about them being "born into it" and not deserving it, but it makes no sense, like wealthy people aren't allowed to have kids? What about Tom Cruise, Ozzy Osbourne, Will Smith? Their kids were born into wealth. People are just resentful IMO.

She went to hospital with morning sickness and is expected to stay there for a few days? What?

With all due respect morning sickness can be really bad and very dangerous for the baby (dehydration etc).

My wife had morning sickness for 4 months, every day, all day and after seeing that, any woman with any level of morning sickness gets my sympathy.

She described it as worse than a stomach bug and like being constantly sea sick - usually with a sickness bug or sea sickness if you're actually physically ill then you feel better, she said it then just started all over again. A lot of women will say they have had it and quite a few have, but very few to this level I'm certain as they can virtually do nothing.

It's all too easy to joke but knowing someone that has gone through it is totally different. :(

I'm not looking forward to the coverage every second of every day but in the position she is in and the type of media we have in the UK I suppose we have to expect it (for want of a better phrase!)

My wife had morning sickness for most of the term. It's one of the reasons we only have one child. :(

A wealthy man and woman are going to have a baby, which is amazing stuff. I actually cannot contain myself. I feel so happy that this is happening. I can't wait for this baby to be born.

There's just one thing tho, I'm not sure I can devote enough time in my life to spend on this baby, since we already Suri Cruise.
