Hi guys, I have some old hardware that for the most part still does all I need but this week decided to get an SSD & some new RAM.

I was reading up on the specs of my motherboard & it seems to me to clearly state native support for DDR3 1333 sticks so I bought some Corsair 1333 XMS3 (2x4gb) but when trying to run it I get nothing output.

If it makes any sense, the PC sounds like it boots just fine, and the disc read lights come on as normal, I just don't get any output. I know this could be faulty sticks, but don't have another system to test them on.

I've tried all the usual - removed CMOS battery, and reset using the jumper but that didn't work.
I also had a pack of Crucial DD3 1333 which I'm sending back as I only have 2 DDR3 slots, but that booted just fine.

Any ideas on if I can get this to boot, or is my motherboard incompatible (it doesn't suggest it won't support 4gb sticks)? :(
