I worried a lot when I first had a Saab Turbo because it was a pre-req for insurance to get a Cat3 immobiliser. I even bought one of those huge steering wheel diskloc things.

I stopped worrying when I realised they were fairly hard to steal and probably not worth the effort anyway.

The green cars thing is true for sure, you can add me and my mk6 escort cab to the green cars that snuffed it list.

Like others I just park as defensively as I can and crack on with the driving. Life is to short to worry about it.

Just get whatever you want, life is too short to worry about what other people may or may not do.

Not sure where my car would be on their list of cool things to steal to be honest, not put much thought into it!
